On November 13, Diana Nikolaishvili, a physician-psychotherapist delivered a lecture on the topic: “The Hero’s Journey – The Path to Success and Its Challenges” within the framework of the “Career Compass” training course. The event was organized by the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University.

“Success truly exists in everyday life; it is not a distant, single point. Equally important is how individuals see themselves, whether they are able and set goals, and how they act once those goals are set. Along this path, in addition to fears, we have an inner voice that should ideally guide us toward success. However, due to improper or unhealthy upbringing, this voice often becomes suppressed, creating internal beliefs that success is impossible, unattainable for a particular individual, or undeserved. We also discussed the “Hero’s Journey”, the universal metaphor on how human is developed, how this development is continuous and spiral-shaped, with each new cycle bringing new resources, experiences, and personal growth,” noted Diana Nikolaishvili.

Within the framework of the meeting, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers on topics of interest. Students from all five faculties of Caucasus International University participated in the event.

The lecture was moderated by Guram Liluashvili, Coordinator of CIU Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service.
