<head></head><body>Before the competition for the paid internship program at the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the heads of the Investigation Service are holding informational meetings in order to popularize the internship program and provoke interest among students.

On June 10, Ioseb Vardzelashvili, the Deputy Head of the Investigation Service, and Levan Dzneladze, the Head of the Investigation Department, met with Caucasus International University students. They were introduced to the tasks of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance and the relevant legislation. They discussed the significance of the program and the requirements of the three-stage selection competition. During the meeting, students interested in the Investigation Service internship program received comprehensive answers to their questions.

The guests and the audience were welcomed by Professor George Khatidze, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University. He placed emphasis on the importance of the issue.

The informational meeting was attended by students and representatives of the administrative/academic staff.

<head></head><body>On June 5, Caucasus International University Personnel Management Office and the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service organized a training on the topic: “Emotional Intelligence” for administrative staff. The event aimed to promote the development of administrative resources, improve effective communication and emotional self-regulation skills in both professional and personal spaces.

The training was led by Irma Kvachadze, a clinical psychologist, body-centered psychotherapy and psychosynthesis specialist, and a coach-trainer.

At the event, the speaker mainly placed emphasis on the following issues: Fundamentals of Emotional Intelligence; Emotional Intelligence in Practice: Leadership, Communication, and Decision-Making; Emotional Self-Regulation, Personal and Professional Growth.

The session was characterized by interactivity, participant engagement, and open discussions.

Training: Using AI in Teaching and Learning Process

<head></head><body>On April 25, 2025, Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service, in collaboration with the Human Resources Office of Caucasus International University organized a training session on the topic: Using AI in Teaching and Learning Process.

The training, which focused on using artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning process, was led by Nino Latsabidze, an AI trainer.

The aim of the training which was for academic staff was to introduce participants to the capabilities of AI and explore its practical applications.

The speaker introduced an overview of key AI tools and platforms that can be used in the education process to improve teaching effectiveness and student engagement. In addition, practical activities were offered at the session, which allowed the audience to analyze in depth the process of working with AI.

Such trainings enable university academic staff to effectively integrate modern technologies into the educational process and foster innovative approaches to enhance student learning and support.

The session was led by Nino Sharashenidze, a trainer at the International Center for Education and Training, and a certified ESOL expert at the Cambridge Exam Center.

The event, attended by CIU academic staff, aimed to enhance their skills in teaching and managing international students, particularly in mixed-level groups.

Mariam Jachvadze, Head of CIU Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service, and Maia Khelaia, Head of the Language Center, welcomed the audience and highlighted the significance of the training.

<head></head><body>On April 4, the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service /Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University organized a public meeting on the topic - “Meet the Employer”.

The event aimed to better introduce to students the labor market and career development opportunities. Representatives from various companies participated in the meeting, sharing information on internships and employment opportunities and discussing the essential skills and approaches required to succeed in today’s work environment.

The meeting was held in the form of an interactive dialogue, covering a range of topics, including: labor market requirements, modern challenges in the employment process, the key skills for career success, the importance of effective communication in teamwork, the ability to adapt to changing environments, and the motivation for continuous learning and professional development.

The event was opened by Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology, who placed emphasis on the internship and employment of students in their profession.

The audience was also addressed by Mariam Jachvadze, the Head of the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service at CIU, who thanked the participants and highlighted the significance of such meetings for the career development of students.

Towards the end of the meeting, the prospects for future collaboration with companies were outlined.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Law, with active academic status and high academic performance, are eligible to participate in the contest.

Students who are interested in the scholarship competition must send the documentation electronically to the following email: career@ciu.edu.ge. The deadline for submitting documents is March 15.

<head></head><body>On December 4, a stress management training was held at Caucasus International University for the staff. Training was led by Tamar Kuratishvili, Master of Psycho-diagnostics and Psycho-counseling, psychologist, psycho-consultant, psychotherapist.

During the training, emphasis was placed on such important issues as: factors causing stress, stress symptoms and conditions; Progressive relaxation techniques, psychophysiology of stress, eustress and its positive aspects; Anxiety and systematic desensitization during stress, ABCDE-technique, what is occupational stress, some common ways of combating behaviors harmful to health.

Various exercises and techniques to combat stress were used and discussed in the interactive format meeting.

The training was organized by the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University.
