Georgian Diplomacy Week – Miranda Mikadze’s Lecture
On November 7, the final lecture of the “Georgian Diplomacy Week” organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University / Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service was delivered Miranda Mikadze, Doctor of Political Science, Conflict Expert, CIU Assistant Professor. The topic of the lecture was “Types of Conflicts and Ways for Their Resolution”.
The meeting aimed to synthesize theory and practice, involve the audience in simulated negotiations, understand the types of conflicts and study effective strategies for their resolution. In addition, the event focused on hands-on learning, simulation modeling and role-playing, which improved diplomatic skills in conflict resolution among students.
Before the start of the lecture, the speaker and the audience were welcomed by Alika Guchua, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University, the head of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations and Mariam Jachvadze, the head of the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service.
Please note that Caucasus International University annually organizes the Georgian Diplomacy Week, where diplomats and experts in the field lead various professional activities and students gain theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for a diplomat.
