Workshop for Administrative Staff

On November 25, a public meeting on the topic: “Your Future Profession in Cloud Technologies with Geosoft Cloud” was held at Caucasus International University;

The aim of the meeting was to introduce students to career development opportunities in the field of cloud technologies, in particular considering the specifics of Google Cloud. During the event, the speakers discussed such issues as:

The importance of cloud technologies and their growing role in the modern digital world;

In-demand professions and career opportunities in this field;

The specifics of Google Cloud and its development prospects;

The meeting speakers were the representatives of Geosoft Cloud:

Tornike Charkviani – Customer Success Manager;

Davit Togonidze – Business Development Manager;

It is noteworthy that the speakers of today’s event are Google-certified Cloud engineers.

Prior to the start of the event, the audience was welcomed by Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology at CIU, who emphasized the importance of today’s event:

“Activities of this format help students plan their career prospects and identify the competencies they need for employment, especially in such an innovative field as cloud technologies,” stated Ketevan Nanobashvili.

The audience was also addressed by the moderator of the meeting, Guram Liluashvili, Coordinator of CIU Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service:

“Our main goal is to provide students with the maximum opportunity to connect with leading companies, learn about the demands of the modern labor market, and properly plan their professional future in the digital era. Today’s meeting was part of this very mission,” noted Guram Liluashvili.

It is worth noting that within the framework of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Caucasus International University and Geosoft Cloud. The memorandum was signed by Tamar Inasaridze, CIU Vice-Rector and Head of the Academic Process Management Office.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers on topics of interest. At the end of the event, Geosoft Cloud held an encouraging raffle, during which students were awarded symbolic gifts.

Before the competition for the paid internship program at the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the heads of the Investigation Service are holding informational meetings in order to popularize the internship program and provoke interest among students.
