On November 12, Caucasus International University Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service organized a training course “Career Compass”.

The aim of the course is to raise students’ career awareness and to help them properly assess their own abilities, deepen self-understanding, and plan their professional choices effectively.
The training course was opened with a lecture by Medea Geldiashvili, psychologist and specialist in positive and transcultural psychotherapy, on the topic “Motivation and Self-Esteem.”

“Today we talked about self-esteem and motivation; in the process, we also touched upon goal-setting, the phenomena of healthy and unhealthy self-esteem. We discussed early experiences that have a significant impact on the formation of a person’s self-esteem, as well as the presence and loss of motivation,” stated Medea Geldiashvili.
During the meeting, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions on the issues that interested them and receive detailed answers.

The event was attended by students from all five faculties of Caucasus International University.

The lecture was moderated by Guram Liluashvili, Coordinator of CIU Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service.
