Meeting: “How to Get Employed in Your Dream Career” / Memorandum
On November 28, a public meeting was held for students of Caucasus International University on the topic: “How to Get a Job in Your Dream Career,” led by Mariam Demurashvili, founder/CEO of the HR outsourcing company “PIPLIA.”
“Very often, people associate a ‘dream job’ with financial opportunities, a specific position or success. However, once they achieve these goals, they realize that this is not what truly makes them happy. A ‘dream job’ is a job or activity that brings you happiness—something you would do even if you were not paid for it. First and foremost, it is important for us to define what kind of activity brings us joy; then we can think about what skills or qualities we need to acquire to become suitable for that field,” stated Mariam Demurashvili.
At the meeting, the speaker reviewed her own career path and highlighted the skills and competencies that lead us toward our “dream job.” In addition, she placed emphasis on the significance of an effective CV and a cover letter in the employment process.
Within the framework of the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Caucasus International University and the company “PIPLIA.” The document was signed by Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector and Mariam Demurashvili, CEO of “PIPLIA”.
At the end of the event, a raffle was held for students, in which event vouchers from “PIPLIA” were given away.
The public meeting was organized by Caucasus International University Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service/ Faculty of Business and Technology
