On June 13, Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University, together with the faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, organized an exposition of graduates’ wine products.
The graduates presented their brands and had the opportunity to familiarize visitors with their products at the exhibition.
Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University, addressed the audience, who emphasized the importance of the mentioned type of events. Olani Gotsiridze, Dean of CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, noted that the university will always support the development of both students and graduates. Mariam Jachvadze, the head of Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service, addressed the audience and discussed future plans and perspectives.
CIU Winery “Etno Okami” was presented at the event, which gives students the opportunity to become familiar with the field more closely and have continuous practical training.
Along with “Etno Okami”, the following brands participated in the exhibition: “Rtoni”, “Melitoni”, “Spring Fields”, “Shesvi”, “Gavazi Estate”.
It should be noted that the event was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia Mr. Ishidzuka Hideki. The ambassador inspected the products of the graduates and attended the decantation process, as well as tasted “Etno Okami” wine.
The event was supported by “Georgian Eno-Tourism Association (GETA)”, whose founder, Caucasus International University Vice-Rector Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, personally visited the exhibition. It should be noted that GETA recently organized the participation of the wineries presented at the exhibition in Spain at the “Days of Georgian Wine and Culture”.
It is significant that Caucasus International University constantly nurtures the growth and development of both students and graduates. Persistent communication with graduates and contributing to their success is very important for the university. A lot of events are planned in the future in this direction.
