Caucasus International University organized a round-table “Challenges of Tourism Development in Georgia” dedicated to a tourism day in Georgia. The event was organized by Career Development Centre in partnership with Regional Centre for Tourism Development. The latter was founded within the frameworks of the project TEMPUS-CruizeT on Business Faculty in July.
Representatives of Tourism National Administration, Tbilisi City Hall Economic Service, Tourism Association of Georgia, Federation of Hotels and Restaurants and different Tourist Agencies have discussed factors preventing tourism development, challenges and recent statistics.
During the meeting the activities of Caucasus International University Tourism Development Centre and CruiseT aims were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the university administration, professors, students of Business faculty and other individuals interested in tourism. Towards the end of the meeting they had an opportunity to ask questions to the presenters.
